The new plant, which is nearly four times bigger in size than the existing, has been constructed specifically to our requirements and will facilitate the business growth which was hampered in the existing plant.
The new plant is located in a modern industrial park, which is an Indian Green Building Council pre-certified Gold rated Green Building facility, approximately 25 kilometers eastward from the existing plant and moved further away from Mumbai City. It took approx. 2½ years to build as it started just when the pandemic broke out and hampered the progress.
The plant has a production area of over 5 000 m2, a R&D test laboratory of 450 m2 and office space of 900 m2. It will produce the Cooling & Heating equipment namely precision air conditioners, chillers & heat pumps.
The new office will have an indoor climate system using the latest version of WISE Parasol, Radiant Ceiling, Gold, Tetris & Zeta units, integrated with Swegon WISE System for the demand-controlled ventilation to render optimum desired indoor climate for Feeling good inside.
Swegon India has been growing at a average annual organic growth rate of over 25% and the new plant is much needed for the planned business growth.
